Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about valuation, requirements, fees and timing.
Is Asl a licensed valuation firm?
Yes. Asl is licensed by the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (TAQEEM), licence no. 1210000757, and has worked under the International Valuation Standards (IVS) since 2020.
Are your reports accepted by banks and courts?
Our reports are signed and stamped by a certified valuer and prepared in the format required by financing, judicial and government bodies. We work with institutions such as Al Rajhi Bank, Alinma Bank and Infath.
How much does a valuation cost?
Fees depend on the property type, size, location and purpose. Send us the details and we'll send a clear quote before we start; fees can also be paid in instalments via Tamara.
How long does the report take?
Most residential valuations are delivered within a few working days after inspection; larger projects depend on scope. An express 24-hour service is available for an extra fee.
Do you work outside Riyadh?
Yes — we are based in Riyadh with field coverage across all 13 regions of the Kingdom.
What documents are needed?
A copy of the deed, building permit and plans if available, the location, and the owner's ID or CR. You can start the conversation and we'll tell you what's missing.
What's the difference between valuation and appraisal (tathmeen)?
Valuation is a professional opinion issued by a licensed valuer under defined standards and is officially relied upon; tathmeen is a general price estimate that may lack a recognised method.
Is my property data confidential?
Yes. We keep client and property data confidential under the profession's code of ethics and only share it with the party you specify.
Is the report accepted by banks?
The report is issued by a valuer licensed by the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (TAQEEM) under IVS, and prepared in the format financing and judicial bodies require. Tell us the receiving party when you order so we follow its requirements.

Which documents do you need?
A copy of the title deed, building permit (if any), approved plans, the property location and the owner's ID or CR. We'll help if anything is missing.
When do I need a feasibility study?
Before buying land to develop, when choosing between uses, or when seeking finance or partners — it reveals returns and risks before you commit.
Does the study include highest and best use?
Yes. We test the legally, physically and financially feasible uses and identify the one that produces the highest value.
